Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-09
This page explains which data is processed when you visit alexiseischen.com or get in touch, why, and how to exercise your rights. It applies under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors from the European Union, the GDPR.
Controller
Alexis Eischen, leadership and communication consultant, Geneva, Switzerland. Contact: alexis@alexiseischen.com.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses:
- a functional cookie “alexis-language” (duration: 1 year) that remembers your language;
- a local record of your cookie banner choice, so you are not asked again on every visit;
- Google Analytics and Calendly cookies, only if you accept them (see below).
Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) to understand which pages are viewed and which contact buttons are used (booking, email, phone). These statistics are used to improve the site.
If you accept cookies, Google Analytics sets cookies (“_ga”) that recognise a returning visit. If you decline, no cookie is set: Google only receives anonymous signals (page viewed, device type), without any identifier, which it uses to estimate overall traffic.
Google Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months. It is not used for advertising.
Booking (Calendly)
Appointments are booked through Calendly (Calendly LLC). The widget on the Contact page only loads with your consent; you can also open the Calendly page directly. The information entered when booking (name, email, message) is processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy, and used by Alexis Eischen only to prepare and hold the meeting.
Email and phone
If you write or call, your contact details and message are used only to reply and follow up on your request. They are never sold or passed on.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any host, Vercel keeps technical logs (IP address, date, requested page) needed to run and secure the site.
Transfers outside Switzerland
Google, Calendly and Vercel may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the safeguards these providers put in place (Swiss–US and EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and object to its processing, by writing to alexis@alexiseischen.com. You can change your cookie choice at any time with the link below or at the bottom of every page. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the European Union, your national data protection authority.
